California: The Rest

We had one more free day before the Lectures began on Tuesday night so we decided to take the kids to Santa Monica Pier.  Maddox enjoyed the arcade and looking at the ocean but the sand won with both kids for their favorite part!  They both loved playing in and Maddox was beside himself when we had to leave even though it was quite chilly and starting to rain!

The rest of the trip was just spent shopping, playing on the play ground and just hanging out!  We had a fun time as a family and enjoyed getting to see Dede, Pop Pop, Uncle Clark and Aunt Lara too!!
