This past week Collin and Maddox have been in York, Nebraska for Soul Quest. Collin was the theme speaker this year and agreed to let Maddox tag along. They have had a great week doing tons of fun stuff together. While they have been gone Sister and I have had some fun of our own! The boys left after Collin preached on Sunday. Little Miss was looking so very cute last Sunday morning!
We spent two days(Monday and Wednesday) at the Pool with friends and loved soaking up the sun!
On Tuesday morning I took sis to get a much needed haircut! She looks so cute with her little bangs and I'm sure appreciates being able to see! We spent Tuesday afternoon and evening with my friend Lindsay and her son Tagan.
On Wednesday afternoon I looked out the window to see the smoke blowing in from a terrible forest fire that is burning in Colorado Springs. We have been praying for all those fighting the fire and those effected by it. They still do not have it under control and it was causing some wide spread damage down there.
Today was a pretty laid back day. We went to lunch just the 2 of us and then did a little shopping for Father's day. This afternoon we went to a new member of our church's house to get to know her better. Then this evening we met Danielle for some dinner and did a little shopping around Southlands. The weather was absolutely perfect tonight!! Addy put a bit of a damper on the evening when she wet her pants not once but twice while we were shopping. I am contemplating taking a break from potty training and trying again in a few months. We have almost been at it for 2 weeks now and she is still having several accidents a day.
We are super excited for daddy and Maddox to get home tomorrow! We have had a good week but we have definitely missed our boys while they were gone!!
