Texas

A couple of weeks ago we made a mini trip to Texas for a few days.  I found an amazing deal on airfare for $43 each way to Dallas and just could not pass up the opportunity.  The kids and I stayed for 5 days and Collin came just for about 48 hours so we could go to the Coldplay concert (since they aren't coming to Denver on their tour).  It was his father's day gift!!

It was late but we made it to Dallas and Maddox was excited!

We got bracelets that lit up to the music!  It was awesome!

We had a blast getting to be with family for a few days.  It turned out that my Nana needed up being in the hospital (and is still there) and having to have surgery while we were there so I am thankful that it worked out for us to be able to see here during that time.

Maddox just loved getting to hang out with Aunt Mo and Aunt Heather, Uncle Pizza, and Kiki and Bear.  We got to go to a Rangers game while we were there and it just so happened that they were playing the Rockies.  The Rockies lost but we still remained loyal and wore our Rockies gear!!

It was hot, we were sweaty, and the Rocks were losing but DumDums make everything better!! :D

We did get some Sprinkles cupcakes to celebrate Maddox's birthday a few days early!!

 Other than the game and the concert we just pretty much hung out.  It was a quick trip but we had fun.  On the way home was my first time to fly alone with both kids so I was a bit nervous. They both did great though and it just so happened that a guy from our church ended up being the person in the 3rd seat on our row.  What are the chances?!?
