Croup
Well I was hoping I would get one kid that wouldn't be prone to croup but it doesn't seem so. Miss Brooklyn had her first go at it this past week. She woke up Wednesday morning with that bark cough and pretty rough breathing. Thankfully, I found an urgent care by our house that opened at 7 am. I took her up there and they gave her a dose of steroids and a breathing treatment. That got her breathing better but she is still pretty stuffy and has a mild cough. I am thankful though that she is breathing better now though because that is always so scary. Hopefully she will be back to 100% soon!

Thanksgiving
We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We got to be with family and didn't have to travel 800 miles to do it!! It was fabulous! All of our siblings except my brother were with their significant others families so we just had lunch with my parent, grandparents and brother. The week before tgiv we also celebrated at the kids school with a cute little feast! We have so much to be thankful for and I feel blessed beyond measure!
After Thanksgiving, Mom and I had a little fun black Friday shopping :D.
Hope your Thanksgiving was a blessed one!

Halloween
Halloween has changed a lot in the last 6 years. :D This year was a lot of fun with the ages our kids are. They got to participate in several different halloween festivities. First was Trunk or Treat at church. They kids loved it and got tons of candy. It was fun seeing everyone all dressed up in their costumes. We went with a frozen theme this year and the kids looked adorable!
Preschool was filled with fun activities and the kids loved it. On Tuesday the kids took their pumpkins they made and went to the "pumpkin patch" filled with all the kids pumpkins. They also go to go to a little petting zoo which was a huge hit!
On Thursday, the kids got to wear their costumes and trick or treat through the halls. Last year after halloween I bought some costumes on clearance and the kids decided they wanted to wear those to school instead of their frozen costumes. It was another fun day.
For Halloween we went to some friends house from church that live in our neighborhood. The kids had so much fun playing with friends and then had a blast trick or treating through the neighborhood!
We had a great week doing lots of fun activities! Now we are looking forward to Thanksgiving coming up!
