Man, I am on a roll here with the fun activities. This afternoon Maddox and I made cupcakes together! He loves pouring in all the ingredients and turning on the Kitchenaid Mixer!! We of course went with our favorite around here...funfetti!! I also bought blue frosting since I know it's my little buddy's favorite color!! We will enjoy eating these over the next several days!!!

Homemade Play Dough
This afternoon, we had some fun making homemade play dough. It was super easy and the kids loved it so I thought I would share the recipe!! Hope you have as much fun as we did with this!
So that's everything you need.
To make it, all you do is add all the ingredients to the pan and stir them until the mixture is smooth and lump free.
Once its smooth heat it on MEDIUM heat. Stir the entire time you are cooking it. After a few minutes it will start to get lumpy. Keep stirring!
It will eventually become a big glob of play dough.
Once its solid, take it off the heat and knead it with your hands. Careful it will be pretty warm at first :D.
Once it cools, its ready for little hands to play with!
It made a bit of a mess in the kitchen, mostly because I let Maddox help me pour the ingredients in the pan and help stir but it was a quick clean up and he had a blast!! It does smell a little weird but I've heard you can put a little bit of coconut extract in there to make it smell better. I didn't have any so we didn't do that. We may try it next time thought :D.
I am just storing it in zip lock bags. And it should stay nice and soft in there.
All 4 of us ended up sitting at the table for half an hour playing with our new play dough. An easy, cheap, and fun activity to do with the kiddos!!

Will You Be My Valentine?
I love Valentines day because it means it's time for one of my favorite traditions we have. Our annual v-day dinner to Wendy's. Nothing fancy or expensive, guaranteed no lines or waits, and always a fun story to tell! Our friends the Cox's joined us this year for our 13th year of this tradition. I got my kiddos cute little shirts and of course they enjoyed some yummy sweets!! I just love my littles so much!!

Best Seat in the House
For some reason my kids love to sit on the stairs to watch TV at our new place. I think it's so funny that they choose that over the couches. I guess it's just the perfect little size for them!
