SUMMER!!

We love summertime at our house!! So, what better way to celebrate our favorite season than a summery blog facelift?!?  :D

York, NE

Last week the 4 of us loaded up and headed to York, NE to hang out with our youth group kids at Soul Quest!  It was my first time to Nebraska.  There wasn't a lot to do but we still had fun as a family.  One of the main reasons we decided to go was that one of our friends, Josh Ross, was the main speaker each night and his wife and 2 boys were going to be there as well.  Maddox had a blasé getting to know and playing with Truitt and Noah.  One day we made the hour and a half drive to Omaha to go to the zoo.  We had heard that it was a really awesome zoo and it definitely lived up to the hype!  We had a great time and it was so big that we were only able to see about 2/3 of it.  Another day we went to the York city pool and had a lot of fun swimming and splashing in the water.  We went to a fun park one day and then just hung out at the hotel and spend the evenings at camp.  We had fun but it definitely made me thankful that I live in a big city!! :D

Happy Father's Day

Happy father's day to all the daddy's out there!!  I am especially thankful for the father's in my life!!

Guest Blogging

I mentioned before that Collin and I fought at the Pepperdine lectures back in May on our intentional life experiment. I know I was a slacker and never posted all the details. After our class though a guy we met asked us if we would guest blog about our experience. Birthday Girl

This past saturday we celebrated Sister's birthday with friends at her sweet little 1st birthday party.  I went with a birdie theme and I think it turned out super cute!  We didn't have a huge turn out for the party but had fun none the less!!  I know she won't remember it but we will have fun pictures to show her when she is older!!
