How is my baby already half way to being a year old? This beautiful blue eyes baby girl is getting so big. She is happy most of the time and will let pretty much anyone hold her. She loves her brother and sister and they can both make her smile! We still aren't sleeping as good as I would like but the last 2 nights have been better so hopefully we are getting close. We had her 6 month appointment last week and she is a healthy baby. She had to get 4 shots but took them like a champ. She does have a bit of a cold this week but hopefully that gets better soon.
At 6 months:
*She weighs 16 lbs 13 oz (55th %tile)
*She is 26 in tall (50th %tile)
*She wears 6 month clothes
*She wears size 3 diapers
*She eats every 3 hours during the day
*We are moving to solids twice a day now. She has tried and liked sweet potatoes, squash, apples, peaches, and bananas. She has also tried peas but did not care for them.
*She went 12 hours without eating through the night for the first time
*Most nights she still wakes up at least once
*She still loves taking a bath.
*She is starting to get up on her knees but I still think it will be a while until she crawls.
*She hasn't gotten any teeth yet but it looks like it could be any day.
the 6-12 month stage is such a fun one. They learn and change so much! I can't wait to watch Brooklyn grow.
