Collin and I have so much to be thankful for this year...our new church family, being able to live in the beautiful place we do, and our precious baby that is on the way...to mention a few. This was my first Thanksgiving to be away from my family so it was a little bittersweet. Usually my mom cooks an elaborate meal that we all enjoy together but since we are hundreds of miles apart this year that wasn't possible. So Diane and I tackled our first Thanksgiving meal together and it turned out really great!! We had a lot of fun cooking together and found out that it is not as hard as we thought!! Here are a few pictures of our feast...
Collin carving the turkey :D You did a lovely job Col!!
Diane and Me with all of our yummy food...obviously we didn't dress up for our Thanksgiving lunch :D
And tomorrow is a good day...one because it is Black Friday which is like one of my favorite days of the year (except this year for like the first time ever I won't be able to go shopping with my mom, sisters, and nana...TEAR) but I am planning on hitting up the Target store bright and early in the morning and two it's my birthday...I will be a quarter of a century old...the big 25 :D
